Before Endodontic Treatment

Treatment will generally be performed using local anesthesia. With local anesthesia, there are usually no restrictions after the procedure with driving or returning to work. Any special arrangements may be discussed.

A patient who is required by their physician to pre-medicate with antibiotics before a dental procedure must abide by the requirement. Continue on all other medications as required by your physician. If there is a question, contact our office or your physician prior to your appointment.

Do not skip any meals before your scheduled treatment. 

If you have a consultation for a tooth causing you pain, do not take any pain medication such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or other pain medication prior to your appointment so that an accurate diagnosis can be made.
