Meet Dr. Bobby Chacon

Dr. Bobby Chacon

Dr. Bobby Chacon attended California State University, Chico where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Regenerative Medicine from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, completing an internship in the Rando Lab at Stanford University where he conducted research on skeletal muscle stem cells and tissue engineering. Following graduation, Dr. Chacon continued his work at the Rando Lab for two years, completing his research projects before pursuing his passion for dentistry. He attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Chacon elected to complete advanced training in General Dentistry at the Salt Lake City VA Hospital, where he had the honor of treating our nation’s veterans. After completing his residency, he practiced General Dentistry for three years in Chicago’s west suburbs. During this time, Dr. Chacon decided to follow his passion for endodontics and was accepted into the Endodontics Residency program at the University of Illinois, Chicago. His training includes surgical and non-surgical root canal therapy as well as integrating advanced irrigation techniques into clinical practice. He completed his residency in June 2025, finishing as a Board eligible endodontist.

Dr. Chacon is excited to bring his knowledge and practice to Humboldt County, where he looks forward to providing high-quality care and compassionate treatment to his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.

When not in the office, Dr. Chacon can be found trail running, training for races, or traveling with friends and family.
